America, Canada, Gran Colombia, Netherlands and Germany
I have been to "Gran Colombia" (the current Republic of Colombia, keep in mind that the real name of Gran Colombia was Republic of Colombia), America (the USA), Canada, the Netherlands (but only to Aruba and Curaçao, which counts for the...
Select the Civilizations from Civ6 that still exist in the present day that you have visited or lived in. I added an explanation next to the name of each Civilization to understand what their current equivalent would be.

We could have a similar situation as the one with Norway, Denmark and Sweden in Civilization 5 and 6. Sweden is in both and Denmark and Norway rotated, Denmark in Civ5 and Norway in Civ6.
This can be the case for South America. Brazil and Inca in all games, in Civ6 Colombia and the Mapuche and...
I wasn't suggesting to have three alternate leaders for it, just possible options for a single alternate leader. This considering that the developers stated that there could be an alternate leader for every civilization, as was mentioned in other threads.
On the other hand, Gran Colombia's real...
I've got some ideas for alternate leaders for a Gran Colombia/Colombia civilization
I would go for Antonio Nariño (currently a Comandante General in-game), Francisco de Miranda or even Francisco de Paula Santander (also a Comandante General). This could be the abilites for these leader options...
Here are some alternate leader ideas for Gran Colombia which could be part of future "leader passes" or future games

I would rather have a more diplomatic or culture centred leader for Gran Colombia than another military one such as José Antonio Páez. He also actively worked against Gran Colombia, plotting its separation, so I guess it would be odd to have a leader that wanted to separate the country it will...
Scarborough Fair is awesome haha. Seeing all that has been said of Ireland, I do think that Ireland was a way better option for a "Celtic" civ than Scotland is.
The palace that is used in the game in Bogotá for (Gran) Colombia clearly has the influence of the Spanish colonial government buildings that were centred around a central courtyard. I would say that the in-game palace could be based on the Palace of San Carlos in Bogotá before various...
5 post-colonial civs
I think it would be interesting if they realeased DLCs to include some of the previous leaders in previous games of some of the civilisations currently in the game. I would like to see Isabella of Castile, Louis XIV, Wu Zetian and obviously Maria Theresa back into the game
As some people have already said here, the only way to have (Gran) Colombia, Argentina, the Mapuche and the Muisca is alternating them to represent native and "modern" South America. Colombia overlaps to much with the Muisca (to some extent they could have the same capital, just with the Spanish...
I agree with you, perhaps the only South American or Central American civs that could work at this point of the game are the Tupi or the Arawak. But I would rather see the Ojibwe, the Navajo, the Cherokee or even the Iroquois returning
