IMO it should be able to fly over water; it should have to end it's turn on land or be lost, but it makes no sense to have an air unit embark for short hops across water.
That goes for planes too.
He probably can't say anything of substance. I promise my work place (not in IT/programming) would have a ban on communicating with the media/public about why a higher up left.
my worry about moving Iron back is that it's even more powerful now (relatively) with the horseman nerf, and if you can't see where it is (if it's nearby at all) you're really boned.
welp, my home PC is down for the next couple of days to a week so maybe by the time Civ is reinstalled and patched...(sigh)
stupid corrupted files :( I just hope it isn't a hard drive failure masquerading as a corrupted group of files....the windows explorer wasn't working right (desktop...
I don't know. They catapults were on a hill, but they weren't fortified. it was just...weird. Horse 1 died attacking it, horse 2 got eaten alive by some archers and horse three...well, he did what he could and died bravely?
bleh.
I lost the save file while having to repair my computer...
I just got curb stomped by the aztecs :( I had 0 iron, they had 5 or 6, and they wound up with that new natural wonder (gold city) that gives +500...coupled with honor, rush bought lots of cheap units (spearmen)+built 2 catapults and ran over me in the classical era. With the horse nerfs my...
The names are dumb, but the OP effects are actually damaging. 500 gold theoretically possibly from turn 2 on...that's nuts. Rush buy your first two things...
so, siam is now hands down the best Civ? GG Fireaxis. I hope they quick-fix that to A: restore yield increases per era to Maritime, and B: give the uni a second slot.
I've done cultural victory with 15-20 cities fairly often (non puppeted). The thing is you probably own't win an early victory--but after you rush-buy broadcast towers, hoo-boy your culture per turn gets gigantic. It does mean you'll be in at least modern era though.
I usually don't get...
I prefer getting big cities even if it's less efficient, so I do use farms; but they are cheezy as hell for being weaker than a Maritime CS. You'd think a farm should produce more food than one maritime (from a game balance standpoint)
yeah, I've never built lots of early siege units because, for the most part I have 2-4 iron in the classical era, and I'd rather spend it on swordsmen than catapults.
I'm going to pretend the Waterloo statement was a joke. Please let me continue to do so. Please?
What I'd like, and pay for...
hell, put in historical scenarios for each Civ; America vs British (or Civil War), the breaking away of Siam, stuff like that. group them in groups of 3-4 each.
