I have the same problem as zautos, @Infixio I installed the same modpack provided and through it in Civ5/Assests/DLC. Replying to your points... c) EUI is in the modpack itself, as it's just VP w/ some UI enhancements. MODS/Cache shouldn't matter because the game is starting up in normal...
