Did the patch help you? I don't know if it helps me because I have lent my game to my cousin. So, since we have the same problem, could you please tell me if the patch fixed the problem on your computer so I could know if it would fix it in mine?

I have the exact same problem as you. if I press the details button I get something about a divide problem.

I have removed all of the Realxxx programs in my computer. I have chosed selective startup without "load startup group items" in the msconfig. I have tried to play my copy of CIvilization 3 which I have paid a lot money to acquire and it still didn't work.:mad:
