A Capella Arrangement of Baba Yetu

Hm, I'm not sure if this forum lets me attach midi files, but I'd be happy to email it to you if you're willing to do that. In case you're curious, I'm the young adult in the middle with the white shirt.

A Capella Arrangement of Baba Yetu

Unfortunately, I don't know if it's possible to post the actual arrangement, and even if I could you wouldn't be able to use it unless you had the program I used to arrange it (Home Studio 2). So the best you can get is doing what r_rolo suggested. Thanks for the praise, everyone who enjoyed it.

A Capella Arrangement of Baba Yetu

I've always loved the original theme song to Civ 4 vanilla, so I decided to write an a capella arrangement of the song for my high school's Madrigal Choir. I thought it turned out reasonably well, actually. Let me know what you think!

M2TW DEmo number 2....the link. Happy download

Otumba was pretty awesome. I beat it the first time, but only because I got lucky and killed their main warcheif with a crossbow bolt. The city of Tenochtitlan was massive. I can't wait to try taking it by siege.

    Rome: Total War Alexander

I actually found it fairly easy to corner Darius against the sea early on and kill him. The last couple times I tried, I was doing fairly well--I had most of their infantry engaged with my phalangists, and the cavalry ready to flank them. Unfortunately, Alexander has died both times I tried to...

    Rome: Total War Alexander

Does anyone here have the Alexander expansion pack? If you don't, I highly reccomend it, because the campaign is great and it's only $15. If you do, has anyone played the historical battle of Issus? It's borderline impossible--I haven't been able to beat it in ten tries.

    Trotsky vs. Stalin

You are correct in that there were certainly socialist movements before Marx, and they may even have described themselves as communists. Maybe "first envisioned" is not the best choice of words, but Marx's theory of communism brought together all past socialist theories in to one definitive...

Connecticut Democratic Senatorial Primary: Lieberman vs. Lamont Thread

It's over, Lamont won:cnn.com But, Lieberman decided to be annoying and run as an "independent democrat." How can he pretend to run as a democrat if democrats just showed they don't support him?

Tornados south of Perth and in Canada.

We had a tornado a couple weeks ago about 10 minutes from my house in Westchester. I didn't notice it, although the sky went almost black for a couple minutes. Luckily no one was hurt in that one either, although there was extensive property damage. One state trooper was lifted in the air in...

    Trotsky vs. Stalin

What I was trying to illustrate in my conclusion was that hypothetically saying that Trotsky would be better for the Soviet Union without actually seeing what effect his policies would have is useless. After all, who is to say that true soviet democracy would not cause chaos, with uneducated...

    The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Try taking screenshots after pressing the "`" button and opening the console. You still get a small white line in the bottom left corner, but its better than the icons and crosshair.

    Castro (temporarily) gives up power

I wonder what exactly president Bush means when he says that he wants to "hasten and ease Cuba's democratic transition"...
