I tried to adept the difficulty level in the scenario 1000AD (Beyond the sword version). But I can't find a way to adept it.
I would love to mesh with the this map. An overpowered China+Azteck empire being stuck in the middle as Monarch Russian.
Things A tried:
1)Open the scenario go...
1) Use your advantages, don't wait a century I've you got rifles first. Start drafting and build trebs/cannons before you got rifles.
2) Use money to promote your veteran units.
3) Protect your stack, from spearman against horses till machine guns against artillerie.
4) Don't forget...
I like to use this strategie,
Don't wanna give?-->> Kill him -->> use his land-->> Land=power,research etc.
I rarely will go for peace once your killed his main army's its easy to push him till extinction.
*Cities without units in it!!!? Barbs invention?
*I see many roads, its was better to build improvement most of cities are already connect with sea or rivers anyway.
*I never research alphabet, aesthetics is cheaper en AI will trade it always for aesthetics.
*Why did you research both budism...
Don't agree to the full with this post.
Running 100% with 6 cities is nice, but is it better dan running 10 cities with 70%?
And maybe if its not you've got more production and more units. Units you WILL need at higher levels.
My starting strategies is often REX or conquer so much that...
Dear forum-members,
I tried searching for a guide ''difficulty levels explained'' myself but I couldn't find it. I only found one for vanila and warlords. Are those the same as in BTS 3.19 ?
I only replace mines in cities with less food if there is enough I find the production of mines more important dan some money or food. Cottages will give me enough money.
Watermills are nice with dikes+communism they can make a production powerhouse without hills. I will rarely use workshops...
most of the time I fight against a AI with vassals. I will fight the master first.
Butt the odd thing that happens when I the master capitulates his former vassals will also instantly capitulates to me.
Is this normal ?
