I'm alright with it, but it definitely could be better. Unstable. The number of roads to achieve different victories seem far more limiting in Civ5 than past Civ games. The scale of cities / population to the size of a civ's military is out of whack (i.e. small militaries). The game's...
For me it's Artillery. There's lots of cool, powerful, useful units in the Modern Era. But Artillery is the first set of big guns that can reach out to 3 hexes and are indirect fire. They hit hard and can easily and quickly wear down settlement defenses before sending in the tanks or infantry...
I put Archer. Very, very fundamental unit that you can get early on but still viable for a long time. As soon as I can get these, 1-2 Archers supporting even the smallest melee / cavalry attack or city assault, or even on defense, can make any force that much tougher.
Having a bunch of puppets was a mistake I didn't make in my German campaign (first was Japanese, and those puppets really hurt you). I preferred to have none, but at times just 1-2 with one of those getting a Courthouse soon.
City locations: Having learned from my Japanese campaign, as far...
Building maintenance by far is the heaviest burden on the economy for me. My armies ever since doing Civ5 are usually among the smallest, which also gets me into alot of wars because it is deemed weak (though they fight like tigers).
Roads... forgot to mention that. With my German campaign...
I just completed a victorious campaign as Germany (disappointingly done via space race). But the major gripe with my performance was that my treasury was hundreds in debt and regardless of heavy emphasis on building economic buildings, going full into Commerce policies on a island dominated...
I just got done with a stunningly slow Marathon campaign as Rome. In past Civ games, I prefer Marathon because the ages last longer and you get a chance to toy with the units for that age alot more. But Civ5 at Marathon was utterly boring because everything took too long to build and produce...
Looks great.
You got the green color scheme and the red star!
The only thing that I can think of improving it slightly is making the gun a bit longer... believe it or not!
Looks good, but may I make a suggestion?
Can you put out a version with an all green color scheme (weathering would be great with it)? An all green color scheme was the standard fare for Soviet armor in WWII.
What would be great is a star on the side. A few possibilities:
* For the...
A Grumman F-14 Tomcat belonging to one of the "Jolly Rogers" squadrons of the US Navy (Pictures below). Preferably, one of the glorious colored patterns from the 70s-80s.
Why? Because they're still one of the sexiest aircraft ever, even though they're decommissioned now.
VF-84 "Jolly...
So you have it in its towering size? Cool!
Keep it that way. Makes it stand out.

* Puts on Snow Boots *
