Some people don't mind the corruption because they employ tricks (like making the citizens specialists, etc.). Where's the realism in that?

I'm definately for lower on the fringes, and in distant cities. I like the idea of having multiple cores. SPHQ should be built only in communism, but work in other govs. Corruption reducing improvements should work noticeably. Those who argue about the palace jump exploit... well, let's have...

I guess that thread went passee with BETA 1.15. Now let's try it this new one out.
Anyway, I went against my vow and played a game. It was a random map on Monarch. Turned out to my a normal sized pangea. I can't see why some people aren't bugged by corruption... it doesn't seem nearly as bad...

HorseSoldier does bring up a good point. But I just don't like to tinker with the core game at all, as I'm happy with every other aspect of it. I don't want to have to edit every existing map and scenario... that feels a little contrived. The default corruption levels should be more balanced...
