    Yep it meets the Recommended requirements. I tried every fix in the book, though not the fabulous Dell Support recommendation of completely formating my hard drive and re-installing windows (Thanks for the help Dell :crazyeye: ) Anyway I went and bought a New dirt cheap OEM DVD-ROM drive...

    First it worked now it doesn't??

    I was quite happily playing Civ4(European DVD) all before christmas, but now my drive fails to read the DVD-ROM. It still plays other DVD-Videos and CDs (Except Donnie Darko I now find out). I have a NEC 1100A (Dell installed) with the latest firmware. There are 2 major differences in my system...
