In case anyone is looking at this, I thought I had fixed it. I was able to at least load once.
What I did was once again delete Civ6 from my PC, then I deleted the Civ6 folder in My Documents as well (After copying my save games out), and making sure the whole folder was gone from the Steam...
I originally posted this in a thread in the General Discussion forum about the 1 GB patch that occurred for the Deluxe edition, and someone tried to help me but it wasn't working, so I thought I try here to see if anyone has any more ideas as I am completely tapped out.
Basically the game...
I've added the following folders as exemptions:
steam
steam\steamapps
steam\steamapps\common
steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI
I've also added the following files as exemptions:
steam\steam.exe
steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization...
Thanks for the attempted help.. but it seems completely borked for me somehow.
I've turned Defender back on, added an Exemption for the Steam Folder, the steam/steamapps/common folder and the steam/steamapps/common/Sid Meier's Civilization VI folder.
Tried to run then, still crashes in the...
Now I've tried that and put the whole Steam folder in the exceptions for defender and it is still happening.
EDIT: Now I've turned Defender off altogether and it is still happening.
After this patch I suddenly cannot load a game I was playing yesterday.
It gets to Sean Bean doing the opening Narration, and everytime it gets to "upright steps" the game just crashes.
I tried my explicit save and several Autosaves.
Anyone else had any similar problems?
I'm having the exact same issue, so I cannot access the Enact Decisions menu.
I've deleted EUI from the DLC folder, I even tried clearing my cache and reinstalling AD. AD is the only mod I have enabled and I've enabled all of the AD submods (Civ Packs) as well.
Yep it was, so Yay! And I didn't screw it up, but I had an excellent plan to follow.. let's see how it goes when there will be much more to keep track of. :D
OK well glad I didn't screw up the worker too much, but you're right I didn't MM him to go put 1 turn on the last tile on our island, i just wanted to make sure that the Worker was in place for the chop and didn't think it though fully, playing with this much detail is new to me.
Oh and I'm...
OKies.. I just woke up and saw that my ideas were fine and so I've just finished playing my turnset. I played until the end of turn 59, the turn where we discovered BW, I've revolted into Slavery, and begun the chop on our 1 forest.
The only that happened during my turn set is at turn 51 I got...
OK "I've got it" officially.. so we're playing by the text file plan provided in post 143. and I was thinking I'd play until BW was finished researching and since it'll be around 20 turns.. of course I will stop if anything happens that could want us to alter the plan. (Meeting anyone/anything...
