Well that's true, I believe it has rotational symetry. However most flags only have attachments to the flag pole on one side, so it can only be attached to the flag pole in 2 ways.

Actually the Union Flag doesn't look the same upside down. It's subtle, but the diagonals aren't the same.

That would be awful. I live a couple of miles from the border and I regulary cross it to get fuel (way cheaper in the Republic). I can only imagine the accident rate in border towns would increase dramatically.

I pretty much listen to the radio when driving, mainly when I forget my MP3 player. Although there are a few show that I use BBCs online service to listen to. Just a Minute and I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue are absolute must listen shows when they are on.
