Anyone knows if the TSL is a function of the Leader or of the Civilization?
Or what has to be done to let Barbarossa start in Aachen and Peter in St. Petersburg?
edit: Would also be interesting for when they add various leaders officially in the game in future. Leader based TSL would make much...
I always disable religious victory by now because I consider it cheesy.
And also the AI is just too dumb to protect their own religion.
Once played as France on a snowflake map.
I didnt found a religion.
Spain next to me found Catholicism and converts my cities.
Russia from the other side of...
Is there a mod that allows stacking with foreign religious units that you are not at war with? Just the same way one can stack with traders. It's so annoying when i am playing A and attacking B and C's religious units are everywhere in the way.
What does make non-district land so valuable? I can anyway never work all of it. I try to keep a chunk of 3 to 6 flat tiles for a farm cluster, hopefully there are some mines and ressources and that's it.
Sometimes the production time needed just makes no sense. This is especially true with repairing pillaged stuff.
In the screenshot one can see that repairing the monument takes 23 turns with the city having 25 prod/turn.
In the second screenshot one can see that the production went down from...
Am I actually right that it is pointless to build factories and power plants in a city that is already covered by one? (except for the GPPs).
Even then, I would build IZs almost everywhere. Just the IZ + a workshop is a few valuable points of production that do not need the tile to be worked and...
Is the start location bound to the Civilization or to the Leader on the "play Europe again" map?
Friederich Barbarossa starts in Berlin and not in Aachen, JFD's Friederich II of Germany also starts in Berlin.
Peter starts in Moscow but JFD's Nicholas II of Russia starts in St. Petersburg.
If...
Is there a mod that only adds non-unique units such as Rifleman and something between Knight-Tank and Horseman-Cavalry?
I think those three gaps are just way too large, really missing in the unit roster and just make rennaissance-to-industrial warfare not fun.
Such as the MOAR units mod (which...
I agree so much for that. The start is luck and your task in each game is dealing with your start position as good as possible. After that, there should be as few luck as possible. It's a strategy game after all. That's why I also disable goodie huts.
Sure, there are many ways of achieving tourism. However, if you play Kongo, Brazil and to a lesser extent Greece (i played all the non DLC civs) and you want to play into their strengths you should go for great works. And to get the fitting artists for theming boni is more or less pure luck...
A possible solution beside queues could also be to insert a puppet governor that builds buildings and projects but never any districts, wonders or units. But you can still give a manual order to the city if needed.
Fun fact: When playing with my girlfriend I usually make aggressive expansion...
I think build queues would make really much sense; just you would have to assign the districts and wonders of course.
In civ 5 i always use build queues. I change them oftren, ofc, move sth up or down or delete dependign on current situations. So you could queue the three buildings you want...
Do you guys also have the problem of managing a wide empire? Any tips or mods?
Like when i have for example 70 cities and 50 trade routes and every turn i have to build something and reassign trade routes the turns take long, it's teddious and annoying.
I cannot understand why they didn't...
