So...siege worms.
I gave up on a campaign just now. After reading all 17 pages of this thread, I found only a single mention of the other question I have (I'll get to that one shortly)
I played a random everything start game. And from the west of my capital and first placed city, I keep...
That seems....well, absurd, but OK I guess.
Does that mean I disappear again if I am outside of local visual range (say, 2 full hexes) when the turn ends?
Wait....ANY ship that happens to be adjacent will see a sub?
So, if my sub is on auto-pilot and an active enemy Trireme will be able to see and engage me, even if he's restricted to shallows and I 'happen to pass by' in deeps?
(Yea, I know, extreme example, but you get what I'm saying)
Heya gang!
I was gone for a while on some unrelated issues. I came back in, patched up G&K and BNW and all the free DLC and jumped back in about two weeks ago.
I did do searching around for the last 20 mins or so, and I can't seem to find the answers to some questions I have about the...

I really don't like windowed mode, it just feels wrong to me, plus I love mouse moving the edges of the map.
Besides, it worked until BNW flawlessly, and occasionally works since. So, windowed mode is, I'm sorry to report, not an acceptable solution.
I've done a bunch of searches and see many mentions of the 'second monitor goes blank' problem going back, off and on, to the original Civ 5 release.
Every expansion / mod / etc seems to have it come up again, and it's never seemed to have a good answer.
I've never had the problem until I...
Plus, using age in a parts/hardware discussion means nothing.
The rig I use to play on will be 3 years old in December. Yet I play everything on ultra high and have yet to see a turn take more than 30 seconds to load...ever.
It isn't about an arbitrary age of a part, it is how those parts...
One part of the game, yes.
One you can win the game with.
One with mechanics that either are so horribly coded that they do not function AT ALL, or with such poorly written and constructed mechanics that they put in the ability to ask for for religious nutters to stop (at a risk to...
Aaaand again. Asked leader nicely to stop sending prophets into my area, he said he would.
The prophet he already sent that snagged one city just converted my capital, complete with grand temple and founding city of my religion, to Byzantiums religion, even after Nebuchanezzar said he'd stop...
Yep, here we are again.
Fresh game. I can't even BUY inquisitors yet. And every city in my empire save my capitol has been spam converted by the iriquois.
I asked them not to, and they said, 'No". So, screw me. Unless I want to go to war with a city-state double mine in size.
Way to...
The problem is, in the game I'm playing now and started this morning, I have TWO danish GPs parked in ship on my city harbor line.
They're spam-converting my city EVERY turn, and I don't have the ability to get inquisitors yet.
I talked to Bluetooth and asked him to stop, and he said they...
And now its there. I swear, it wasn't before. It was a fresh turn, worker had plenty of points available (all of them), there was an unconnected city nearby...
*sigh*
