I played almost a full game on 7.3 before the new patch broke it :( No crashes, no real non-vanilla bugs to report, I was also played CSD and a custom version of Atilla's modpack. I haven't tried 7.4 yet, but I think I'll stay away from it now :( Hope this helps!
