It would just be plain fun! I don't care if it is not the most balanced map.

I would love to have an earth map. It is a very fun scenario. However, if the map size is too small, maybe they could have continent maps instead. That would also be fun, as there could be europe, euroasia, euro-asia-africa, north/south america, etc.
