Actually, Labour kept Tory spending plans for the first two years of their government. It is only since then that the Civil Service has become bloated out of all recognition, and 1 million jobs have been lost in the manufacturing sector. :D

What no Lib Dem will tell me is why I should pay £200 more as a single taxpayer over a couple with the same income earning the same amount. I still have a wife and 2 children to support.

I actually found a Y2K bug in one of the reports I was testing at the time. I don't know of anyone else who did though. Even more stupid was the 9th September 1999 supposed bug. More of a brain bug than anything else, but it didn't stop the company I was working for spending thousands testing...
