Exclusive pre-order bonuses aren't "weird" anymore. Basically every high profile game has them now. Just google "pre order bonus" and any game that was released recently (or even in the past two years)

You and I know all the people whining about this stuff and stating they aren't going to buy the game are going to get it anyways ;)

FYI its quite common now for high profile games to have "special" features for each retailer. Don't be surprised if GameStop, Amazon, WalMart, Best Buy (and maybe more!) get their own pre-order bonuses announced.
