I voted republic. The best decision for a country as a whole is not necessarily the best decision for the majority of the people in that country. Therefore you need parliament to make decisions, they are more capable to see the big picture. (at least, that's what I hope...)

Pirate Bay is now hosted in the Netherlands at the same provider as Newnova and Torrentspy. Downloading isn't illegal in the Netherlands so I don't think these sites can be put down successfully in the Netherlands but most small sites don't take the risk and when the dutch equivalent of the RIAA...

I think everybody should just keep their own languages for every day conversation but everybody should also learn english. Further I think that all official international EU conversation should be done in english, the nonsense of translating everything into 30 languages in the EU parlaiment...
