The Atago class of guided missile destroyer is an improved version of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF)'s Kongō class destroyers.
Both ships of the class share a same name with Japanese World War II cruisers. On occasion, Atago class destroyers have been incorrectly referred to as cruisers by the Japanese media. That being said, these ships in terms of size and capability are equal to the last ships named "cruisers" by a modern navy, the US Ticonderoga-class cruiser.
The file contains all the sounds and pcx files. Model is not my own creation because it came from google warehouse and オッサン・オブ・ジョイトイ is the author. Wyrmshadow provided the animation files and Ares de Borg did the sounds. I merely put the pieces together and cleaned up the model for CivIII and added some what if pieces. A big thanks to everyone that helped out!
