In CIV4 Warlords there was an Aztec altar building. This altar has been used in mods as an altar or temple for many non-mesoamerican civs (Phoenician, Sumerian, etc.), some of whom practiced human sacrifice and some not. In zipfile there is nif and dds files to replace the original which has most ethnic features removed including Quetzl serpent heads, stone crests, and bloodstains to make it a more generic altar. Before and after is shown in picture below.
