Better Balanced Game 1.5.2

The goal of this mod is to continue with the community lead efforts in Civilization 6 to create a better multiplayer experience via balance changes to the game. The current changelog is focused on light weight changes to the ancient era. The mod will slowly be expanded over time to include balance for resources, additional eras, victory conditions and additional leader changes.

General Changes:
  1. Fresh / Off Fresh settles now give +5 / +3 happiness (Up from +0 happiness for off fresh)
    1. Note: temp fix until someone comes up with a BBS and reduces the frequency of off fresh spawns

Civilizations
  1. Aksum
    1. Civ Civic Periplus +2 resource capacity on settlements adjacent to navigable rivers or coast (up from +1)
  2. Egypt
    1. Navigable River Spawn Bias increased
  3. Maya
    1. Civ Civic Calendar Round +5% science or culture from finishing techs or civics (from +10%)
    2. UB Uwaybil K’uh +5% production for city when completing a tech (from +15%)
    3. UB K’uh Nah no longer gains +1 science if placed on vegetation
  4. Mississippian
    1. Civ Social Policy Shell-Tempered Pottery buildingsreceive 0.5 gold adjacency from resources (from +1)
  5. Persia
    1. Leader Trait +5 combat strength on attack (From +3)
    2. UI Pairidaeza +3 gold +1 culture (from +1 gold +1 culture)

Leaders:
  1. Machiavelli
    1. Remove +3 influence per turn
    2. +25 / +50 gold when Diplomatic Action are accepted or declined (from +50 / +100)

Heavy machia nerfs. Without ranked play in cpl, this seems a littly bit to early for a patch. Many players didnt try all the leaders yet for example and now 1 is already quite removed. (New players might not want to try out nerfed leaders).
Is increasing the nav river bias for Egypt really a benefit? They can be very restrictive when you're having to make a turn 1/2 decision based on initial sight vs. being able to scout out the area for a non-capital.

Fair point! We'll have to see how it plays out. Right now a lot of players are complaining that Egypt will spawn with no navigable rivers and thus it feels like you are playing a civ without a leader bonus.
