What's coming Next

  • Mods conflict detection
  • Add sorting in mods list

How to Install

From the Download page on CivMods.com (click on the Go to Download link here on CivFanatics), click on the Download button matching your device.

You will download:
  • The .msi file for Windows (Microsoft Installer)
  • The .dmg file for macOS, both for Apple Silicon and Intel
  • The .AppImage for Linux. It will provide auto-updates.
I’ll add better download links from website and download page in the future, for now I hope this clarifies it a bit. Every feedback is welcome.

A lot of features are still in development, but I wanted to share the current version as I believe it's stable enough for use. Feel free to reach out if you have any feedback or questions!

Better than Steam Workshop
Fantastic work, this works great and is intuitively laid out to boot. Genuinely one of the better mod managers I've used.
Emminent support mod. Great program you have made.
Tricky to find the folder with the mods in LINUX, since one cannot enter the folder adress copied from explorer.
This is superb, thanks!

Just wondering whether it's possible to have an option to switch to the UI to light mode rather than dark mode? (I'm in the minority I know, but I find light text on a dark background really taxing on my eyes.) I checked in the settings, but couldn't see a way to do this.

Also, there are a couple of mods it doesn't seem to be handling correctly - they are installed and working in the game, but show up as not being in the repository and having been manually installed, even though I installed them via this tool. One is Renouf's 'Navigable Rivers for Tecumseh' and the other is zinfinion's 'Custom leader Colors'.

Didn't think about a Light Mode, I'll work on adding it - about the mods, I need to check them, thanks for the report
OMG no more headache's searching for updates on the mods i'm using
Necessity for easily installing and updating your mods
Off to a good start Showed I accidentally installed a Civ VI mod. I could have sworn I saw that in game and was impressed by it.
Great app! I really appreciate that it has both macOS and Windows versions—I play Civilization 7 on both platforms, and the ability to share installed mods between them is really useful.

I’d love to see better integration with the CivFanatics.com website, such as viewing mod details directly within the app without needing to open the site. Also, it would be great if I could log into CivFanatics.com through the app, leave ratings and feedback for mods inside the app, and have the website track which mod version I downloaded.

Overall, an excellent tool, and I hope to see it continue to improve!
Top quality and comfort!
