I like what you have done but I don't understand the change in map. Version 0.1 is great, it allows you to play an "Old World" civilization that discovers the "New World", you can role play history basically which I love. Reminds me a bit of Colonization which was a great Civ spin off back in the day.

What I don't understand is why now in 0.2 have you shrunk North/South America and thrown in Australia and what I think is supposed be New Zealand for what benefit? It has put me off to be honest.

Sorry you didn’t like the second version of the map, but the changes were made for gameplay reasons: in the first version, the AIs had trouble crossing the Atlantic Ocean, which ruined the gameplay during the Age of Exploration — mainly because of the distance and the fact that you couldn’t sail around South America. I find this second version much better for gameplay, even if the scale is less realistic.
I like the idea, finished game succesfully. I think, it is a good call to shorten atlantic sea. Let's test new map.
The mod itself is a good idea. Unfortunately, it only works to a limited extent. The 12-player mode does not function — selecting it causes an error and sends you back to the main menu. Additionally, the game takes an extremely long time to load between rounds and often freezes. Hopefully, the creator is working on it and can provide a timely update to fix these bugs.

In order to use the 12 players mode, you need 1) Enough civ mods (at least 12) for every age and 2) Enough religion beliefs for > 8 players.
Does it work if you download a few additional civs and use the "Twice More Beliefs" mod for religion?
