======================
v2.0 (September 28th, 2008)
======================

(working on v3.0, see below for more detail)

---------------------------------------------------------
This mod requires "Civ IV - Beyond the Sword", patch 3.17.
Please install the patch first, the mod after.
---------------------------------------------------------

This mod pack does not contain a specific scenario. I just added several smaller things which I thought would make the main game more attractive.

New 3D leaderhead:
Armand-Jean Plessis de Richelieu (France)
Charles V Habsburg (Holy Roman Empire)

New leader traits:

Informed
---------------
(Mao, Richelieu)

+50% espionage points per city
double production speed for National Security Bureau, Intelligence Agency

Progressive
---------------
(Roosevelt, Napoleon, Augustus)

-50% costs for unit upgrades
double production speed for Laboratory, Nuclear Power Plant, Hydro Power Plant

Diplomatic
---------------
(Hammurabi, Bismarck, Charlemagne)

Votes doubled for each voting except for Diplomatic Victory
+100% trade routes in the capital

Daring
---------------
(Joao II, Willem van Oranje, Ragnar, Charles V)

Free promotion "March" for reconing units
+25% production speed for naval units

Roaring
---------------
(Ragnar, Genghis Khan)

+50% Gold from pillaging and conquests
Free promotion "Sentry" for reconing units
Double production speed for stables

Note: "Roaring" is not yet included. It's ready and working, but I still have to check if +50% is okay as a value.

New world map option

For those who can't get enough of Civ, there are now "giant" maps available.

Automatic / Hidden research game option

With Automatic research turned on human players will no longer be able to choose by themselves which technology to research next.

Hidden research does pretty much the same, only you will not even know what you're currently researching and how long it will take. Keen espionage might still tell you about the opponent's actual field of studies, but only if he's looking for a tech that your civ already possesses. In the other case you will only know that he's researching a "future technology".

I hope you enjoy the mod! Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

PS: There's still some work to be done on the French, Spanish, and Italian translations. Help would be most welcome. Also I have been lazy so far to fill the Civilopedia entries with content, but I will do it when I have time.
