🌍 Terrain & Climate System Overhaul
  • Map generation improved for more natural terrain distribution
  • Eliminated visual “cake layers” caused by rigid latitude banding
  • Rivers are longer and appear more frequently
  • Snow now applies dynamically to mountain peaks and surrounding areas

🗺️ Biome Zoning System​

  • Primary Climate Zones:
    • Hot Zone: Dominated by desert; tropical biomes appear near rivers
    • Moderate Zone: Primarily plains with patches of grassland
    • Cold Zone: Predominantly grassland, with tundra at higher latitudes
  • Secondary Transition Zones:
    • Blend neighboring primary zones to create biome "bleeding"
    • Produces smoother transitions and avoids harsh climate layering

🌪️ Disaster Tuning​

  • Blizzards and dust storms now last significantly longer
  • Damage output reduced, emphasizing atmosphere over threat
