These are some of my own tweaks for Realism Invictus 3.25, the main being how religion works. I've made it so that religions can only be founded by the civilizations historically associated with them - Anyone can still convert to any religion, but Taoism, for instance, can no longer be founded by the Zulus.
To do this, I've linked the Founding conditions for each religion from their original tech to a separate, free tech at the beginning of the tech tree, which can then be blocked or unblocked in the DisableTechs section of the CivilizationInfos.xml - FYI if you want to alter my own choices. The civs and their religions are as follows:
Some small changes: I've made Dualism a prereq for the Ishtar Gate, so it's not a pointless tech if you can't get Zoroastrianism from it. I've also brought Ragnar back as a leader for the Vikings, because... well, how could you play them with anyone else?
The other part I've included here is a revised PerfectMongoose_v321_RI_Edition.py, which changes the map dimensions from a 1:1.6 ratio to a 1:2 ratio. I believe this looks far better on the globe view and has a much more realistic representation of climate, but you can leave this or anything else out if you want. I've also included [OLD] versions of all documents in this file for backup. Other than that, just copy the Realism Invictus folder into your mods folder, and happy hunting!
