At any time, you can press CTRL+ALT+T to enable or disable auto-end-turn. I use this mainly to quickly shut off AET when something happens in game that demands my immediate attention.
This mod requires lib-register-keybinding mod to be installed if you want to be able to customize the keybinding.
Currently, there is only a sound effect played when you change the setting. There is no visual indication that the setting was changed. You can always check in options to see what the current setting is and whether it changed.
