I have a fair bit of experience playing Civ4 vanilla and only just got the BtS expansion, and I'm finding it rather easy to bankrupt myself pretty early in the game. This isn't a problem I had before. I cottage my cities, like I'm supposed to, but then am surprised while still in ancient times...
