This is my 1st bug report and I don't know how to 'load a game-save' in here. I'd really like to finish this game, but no matter what turn I re-enter the game on or what I do differently IN the game, when I click 'next turn' to get to Turn-166, the game crashes to desktop and asks me to report the bug. I have reported this several times, but the game keeps crashing at the same point.
I started this GS game AFTER the new patch. I can reproduce it right up to the point where it crashes, but I don't know HOW to bring it in HERE to get it fixed. Any help would be appreciated.

Please post a save file from before you hit Next Turn. Also, are you using any mods?

This sounds similar to what I was experiencing. I made a post on the tech support forum here which no one has responded to: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/game-freezing-on-turn-transition-1-0-0-314.644654/

I haven't received any input on it, but I did manage to get past that turn by going back something like 14 turns to a previous save and playing the game differently from that point. I was in a war where I took a bunch of cities, so instead of doing that I ran around and pillaged and then made peace.

DCGolliher, as far as uploading saves you can find them under Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Saves\Single. At least that's where mine were. The full path was something like C:\Users\<username>\Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Saves\Single.

I HAVE a game file SAVED AT the point BEFORE I hit Next Turn, where it crashes. With OA's help, I even found this file in my computer. My question, still, is that I do not know HOW--the procedure--to 'POST' this saved file IN HERE.
I did NOT use any MODS. Before my 1st post, I tried going back 6 or 8 turns, changing everything up--but with it still crashing at the same point. My guess is that adding new Civic AND Research changes AT this point blew it up.
I don't have unrealistic expectations about glitches after a major game patch--I wouldn't have bothered trying to recover this game, except it was one of those rare ones that hit the 'sweet-spot'. And now, I'm also curious about WHAT CAUSED this. Thanks, again, for your help.

DCGolliher, when you're adding a reply there's an Upload a File button right next to Post Reply. You can add the files there and then reply.

Thanks. I 'thought' I turned off ALL my mods after the patch. This explains the crash and I'm sorry I didn't catch this before posting in here.
