I have just won a Cultural Victory game in which a total of 39 GPs were popped. On checking idly through the list file, I noticed that Mencius, Aristotle, Al Kindi, Tycho Brahe and Virgil had not appeared although persons later in the lists had done so. What seems odd to me is that their list positions are 6, 6, 12, 18 and 6, so what is the selection method's prejudice against multiples of six ?
