15 character city name limit

Does anyone know if this is hard-coded into the game, or if there is a way around it (possibly included in JB's no-limits patch)? Trying to make a little mod to make Civ 2 into a "learning tool" for work. But most generic names for medication are longer than 15 characters. (I work in a pharmacy) I think it would be great if I could convince atleast one pharmacist that Civ is a "learning tool" an get it installed

I'm pretty certain the no-limits patch doesn't cut the limit on city names. Maybe you should use abbreviations...

I'm a pharmacist (although not currently working because I'm bringing up my daughter) but I would love to work in a pharmacy with Civ installed to keep me entertained on those quiet Saturday afternoons/late evening!

I have the same problem. I name my cities after Philadelphia's subway stations, but unfortuantely the Margaret-Orthodox stop has to be abbreviated to Margaret-Orthod.
