about to buy Civ3, question

I owned the game before but had to throw it away so I could focus on college because I got too addicted. Well I'm going to go buy it again today. I know the game and expansions are all in seperate boxes (and sometimes in bundles), so which ones should I buy to have everything up to conquests?

You should buy the original Civ3 and conquests, IMHO

I wanted to buy civ and conquests for a friend, but found out that the original civ3 isn't available anymore, anywhere :s and conquests had to be ordered, no shop had them in stock :s
I could buy civ3 gold edition though, but paying 30€ for a 3 year old game, and an expansion that is included in conquests seemed a 'bit' much to me.

Ordered from Amazon.com and got the Original Civ3 for 10$ and Conquests for 20$. =)

original civ3 in america is now 10 bucks, I saw it in Marshalls once...

conquests is 30 bucks. Dont you dare touch Play the World either, or I will go over and kill you. j/k. just realy, dont buy PTW.

The reason why you shouldn't buy Play The World is because it's included in Conquest. So any deal with Civ3 and Conquest is what you're looking for !

And don't forget to patch the game
