Al Quada may have been near making radiation bomb

Washington Post & ABC news says finds of plans and evidence tracing radiative material indicate that Al Quada may have been close to making a bomb that uses explosives to disperse highly radioactive (and toxic) material over several city blocks. USA goverment has supposedly alerted allies to be watching for a particular Al Quada member transporting a cylinder which may contain the radioactive material.

I'm genneraly a bit suspicious towards such news.There have been a lot of news recently about possible attacks, but i havn't seen masses of anthrax attack's (or other biological attacks) ,nor nuclear. But i guess such news sels.

No need to panic (yet) i guess.

I heard something very similar about a month ago, about the ingredients for a dirty bomb being brought up through South America and Mexico.

Not sure if they're related. Probably just in that they are both rumors.
