I'd be interested in opinions. I'm afraid that they are overpowered. They get a boost to research when one of their units kills an enemy unit. Their special building is an improvement to farms that also gives research and their special unit is the Robotic Helpmate, a worker that moves faster and builds faster. Technically, any civ can build a Robotic Helpmate, but the Aliens can build it much earlier than the other civs.
They start without Agriculture, but I'm not sure that's enough of a balancing factor.
