Take "EverQuest" or "Star Wars Galaxies," cross it with Pogo.com, and now you've got Puzzle Pirates. This is a great MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game), which means you're competing against other people around the world. As any pirate would, you start out pretty much penniless and propertyless on an island. Through these Pogo-type games, you earn money, battle other pirates, and compete in contests. You can spend your winnings the pirate way by buying clothes, weapons, and even a parrot or monkey for your shoulder. Once you move up in the world, feel free to join a crew, purchase a business, or terrorize the high seas.

I was in the puzzle pirates beta. But only for acouple days before they updated and I was unable to install the newer version properly. I won't pay for it though so no more pirating for me. Also, how do they manage the job system, it wasn't working when I was in.

Basically, you can job on a ship or in a shop. With ships, you can job for a crew or for a navy. I am yet to really job for a shop yet.

I meant shop jobs, the ship system was already up and running. (no would have played if there were no boats/fighting)
