I've run into a bit of an issue. I've built up a lot of videos (mostly of me playing games) and it takes up a lot of hard drive space. Until I get my new drive. Anyways Ive been burning 'em off onto DVDs (I split them into folders of about 3.5 - 4 GB each, not filling the DVDs completely to capacity) so I didn't run out of space prematurely. Its a lot of discs.

Ive noticed, every once in a while a disc will sort of get stuck on the Writing Leadin for a long time. Then I try to cancel it (I use ImgBurn mostly, though it did happen once with CDBurnerXP, so I assume its not a software issue) and it doesnt cancel and the light flashes as though its burning. And then I have to reboot to get the disc out and then its a coaster.

Anyways, all the DVDs come from the same spindle I bought not a long time ago. I dont have any other brands to test it. What do you people think. If the drives bad Ill put my HDD money towards getting a new one before getting the new HDD. If my mother ever pays me back what she owes me... (stupid of me to lend her anything at all even a pen)

By the way:
