For new players the Bannor can seem to be very kind civ, because they have most good leaders. Well, dudes, you playing FfH and good is not mean actually kind, espesially when talking about Bannor. Bannor is not kind, forget that.
Is one of most warmongering races, with need for instant war to activate their real power and toughness. Yes, remeber, new player. Once started, war cant be stopped till all enemies eliminated , and all bad guys have been punched.
So , once started Bannor game just know - you want to go BW, worker techs, and then Fanaticism. Till when you have fanaticism stack yourself with Axes. Alot of them. You going to war, bro...

The uniqu power of them is that they aviable to spawn enormous amounts of metal line units from just... their towns. Once they reach their civic Crusade, you will get str base 5 unit (Demagog) (that can use metal upgrades) very frequently from your small villages and cities. Once village grown to Town, instead becoming town, it will give you new Demagog, and village>Town counter will reset. (that mean Demagog per 25 turns for each Village owned)

Your primary tech paths are :
Metal line.
Order religion.
Fanaticism (Disciple path).

Once got all worker techs + metal line up to BW, should beeline to Order in order to found it. This religion is concidered best for Bannor use, synergy/lore wise. Bless spell is awesome for your use as well.
Economy: HARD HARDCORE COTTAGE.
Build cottages in every hole. Even Plain hills (You cant build there cottage, really, but you should try). get mines mostly on resources + may be +1 plain hill per city. You wont building alot of units, you need prod for buildings. Mass capital for more prod for spamming some good wonders / herobuilding. All time , all hole cottages, dont forget. Better manual control workers to do it properly and balance your city rings.
Never adopt Conquest. Its not good for you, you need least farms tiles as possible, and you wont build alot of units. Most units will just join you in order to kill the bad guys, so dont worry. Also good CE will help with enormous mainentance for your future huge army of goodass killers :D

Ok here we go, the breaking point of game is discovering of Fanaticism tech.
Once done - few things should happen - world spell is cast, Donal build - national hero that have recruit ability. Once built send him to your bigges city/capital - he can cast Recruit - that will gicve you random units of tech levels you have already resereached .
That combined with World spell and all time Demagog spawning during crusade make Bannor powerfull. Start kill all bad guys (and then neutral at need) immidiately. War Always. If you end war you lose all your Demagog units, so dont be silly, just go and kill, for good. :)

Leaders : Sabathiel - my fav - After Fanaticism get Military stragey and command posts. Also get Confessors - at 20 xp later you can make them tier 3 priests combined with command post xp and Charismatic trait. Units level at awesome speed, so soon your demagog/ champs army will be very strong. You can max your Great commander points by building all related wonders in once city.
After military Strat go for Champs and iron. turn Axes to champs with your economy.
Carpia - wonder building, increased production and Disciples galore. Build confessors, then Crusaders. After Fanaticism go straight for Righteousness. Carpia Pallys are strong power + you have industry bonuses.

Good luck, and remember that war with Evil (Neutral , Infidels) should not end till they all being defeated and order rule the world.

ADD1: Ah dont forget Flag bearers. 1 per stack are must.
ADD2: Bannor are extremely effective against all MArksman/Assasin/Shadow based strategies, since their unique Training Yard gives guardsman promo.
ADD3: If you advancing further and you got metal line up to champs, righteousness and military strategy... then time to move on.... Archmages. Get ready adepts early, and let them level. Give them All your capital mana fields. (Earth, Spirit, Law). 1. Earth 1 uses for city defence as adepts. 2. at level 2 - mages you can add Hope - +1 happy and 4 culture, spirit 2 spell. 3. While using Crusade you cant use Social Order civic, so Law 3 Arhcmages will help to your cities with Unyelding Order and unlimited hapiness. Thats why i like Sabathiel More - 20 xp mage + SoW tech and you have unlimited happiness.
