bCarriesIrrigation not working in BtS?

This is odd. I know my modular modified XML for pastures, plantations, etc. to carry irrigation is loading because I tried changing the descriptive text and it showed up.

But despite setting <bCarriesIrrigation>1</bCarriesIrrigation> for these improvements, my test using WorldBuilder still shows the farms beyond them as "(not irrigated)".

I thought this was working in vanilla, but haven't tried it recently.

I am using Solver's patch, but I strongly doubt this would be affected.
 
Could it be they spread irrigation only to their own type of improvement? That'd be a shame, but its possible. Otherwise I don't really know...
 
have you add the tech that enable spread irrigation in your test ?
 
Yes, I did remember to do that before I posted (though at first I forgot).

Perhaps I should PM Solver to see if he knows. I hate to bug him, but he is very helpful.
 
Ah, I figured out what was wrong. My test case was a map I put together with WorldBuilder, but I'd built the test map before I finished the changes on the mod. I did try doing a "next turn" but apparently the irrigation "map" is only updated on certain events, so my farms on the other side of pastures were still showing as unirrigated.

When I was playing a real game with the mod (I also tried to remove a bunch of political correctness - whales, ivory, and fur going "obsolete", nuke meltdowns, and global warming caused by radiation, and wanted to test these things) the irrigation showed up. Hurrah!
