Thunderfall said I should post this here. I know that you are a programmer, but if you or anyone else can help me, that would be great:

I hvae recently installed the 1.21g patch for my iMac (G3, OS 9.0), and tried launching Civilization III._ I got the message that 'Civilization III could not be opened because CarbonLib (an extension I DO have) could not be found.'_ Before installing the patch, I was using CarbonLib v. 1.0.4 for my Civ III version 1.16f, with the 1.21g patch, I got this message, then I installed CarbonLib v. 1.4, which came with my Civ III CD, and still got this message._ I then tried it with CarbonLib 1.6, and still the same message. If you or anyone over there at Westlake is not too busy, I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me with this problem, I really don't want to be stuck with v. 1.16f and miss out on all of the fun that everyone at Firaxis, Infrogames, and especially at Westlake have made possible for me and my fellow Mac Civ-ers.

If you want to see the the exact messages I got while trying to launch Civ III with the 1.21g patch, email me at elpadrino5787@hotmail.com, and tell me if you want them in simpletext format or JPEG.

Drop CarbonLib 1.6 into your System Folder->Extensions folder and restart. Make sure that there are no other copies of CarbonLib lurking about. If that doesn't do it, you've probably got larger problems with your system install.
