Cannot Install Patch 1.09. InstallShield error 1706

Is is just Weak!

It extracts the patch and then I get this error:
Error -1706: No valid source could be found Sid Meyer's Civilization 4
Then it searches for a while, a minut or two, then it proceeds with the installation and ask if it should install xfire.

When i try to reaplly the patch it says that the games is up to date. But is there any way to verify that? Since I got this error I am a bit paranoid.

Take a look in advanced>about from civ4 main menu and see if its updated.

I got the same message both by installing the game as by installing the patch.
I just continued and no problems further except the normal bugs.

I got the same error trying to update with 1.09.
