cannot load mods

hi i have been trying to get mods to load but they dont work for some reason. When i go to select the leader (in any game type) that i want they are not there. Only the orginal ones that are there load. It has no problem loading the mod or anything i just cant get them to show up. I have no extra programs other than the game. I dont have python, or anything like that. (if that matters)

If some one could help it would be greatly appreciated.

It seems that you have installed the fan-made mods incorrectly. Mods belong to the programfiles\firaxisgames\civ4\Mods folder. Most mods come with installation instructions, try to find a readme or something. If in doubt, ask the author of the mod for details.
