Cant Read Words

Most of the words in my game come out looking like colorful rectangles and boxes. It does this in game, and in the menus... I can only read words that are more artsy like "Civilization 4" and all the logos and stuff. But the Other buttons are boxes... Someone help please.lol...

YES! Me too, but only after udating to 1.52 patch. Letters in menus are not there or transparent, and some of the spaces where text should be have things like , etc.... - not the pictoral icon, but the keyboard stroke...
