Christina Hendricks Briefly Loses $850,000 Bracelet, Stores It In Cleavage
Christina Hendricks had a costly wardrobe malfunction at Sunday night's Golden Globes when one of her $850,000 diamond bracelets by Chopard went missing, Page Six reports. Before the show started, the actress rushed around in a panic trying to find the super-expensive piece of jewelry. Fortunately, one of the event staffers found it and returned it to Hendricks, who wanted to give it to her publicist. And, as the gossip column narrates:
Security blocked {Hendricks} as she tried to leave the auditorium, as no one is allowed in or out once the show starts. She begged, "Please let me out, I have to give my diamond bracelet to my publicist!" The guard watched wide-eyed as Hendricks pulled the bracelet out from her ample cleavage. He opened the door a crack and she passed the jewels through to her publicist outside.
A Chopard rep said, "Whoever put it on her wrist may have not closed the safety clasp correctly. But both bracelets and her earrings were returned in perfect condition today." Phew!
That's one damned lucky bracelet.
