Civ 3 early patches

Dear all,

Does anyone know where I can find the 1.16f and 1.17f patches for unexpanded Civ III?

I've trawled the Net high and low using Google and simply cannot find them for download anywhere.

i've got both files saved on my system from LONG ago. two points 1st ...

[1] why do you want THOSE patches?
i ran them and was far happier with 1.29f for civ3 vanilla. that is still online here ...

[2] i am not certain it is LEGAL for anyone to post those files. [*sigh ...*]
if you can get on e of the forum wise ones to agree that it's ok, i'll happily post the file where you can download it.

I would think it is fine as they were available here for free at the time. It is not like you can do anything with the patches, if you do have the game. I kept them for a long time, but decided there was no use for them.
