Civ 4, craptastic install process

It really seems to be hit and miss with this game. Many people seem to be able to install without trouble without taking any special precautions, others have a terrible time even being ultra careful. I installed to the default drive as that is what most people do if they just let it install and I wanted to see the issues as I seem to spend so much time helping out here, there have been less problems with permissions if you install to another location so hopefully that shoulkd go ok for you. edit, posted this then noticed you'd posted it went ok. BTS didn't install a desktop icon for me either - I must add that to the list of issues I had when installing...

Well, everything seems to have installed fine. Only weird thing is BTS does not seem to have left any sort of shortcut on my desktop lol. Ahh ok, its part of the CIV folder.

When I installed BTS, it put the shortcut on the Admin user ID, not the regular ID. For the regular user, I didn't even get a shortcut in the Start menu.
