The game runs on my PC ok. But I have not got a clue what to do on the game. Its a massive instruction book to read through.

Great you up & running :)

Suggest you visit the Discussion Forum. It takes a while to get into it for the first time, especially if you not played Strategy games before. So keep expectations on the level, you need to play a few games, get slaughtered a few times - dont get wound up over the AI getting at you etc - then it will settle, make sense and you are away.

Post on the Discussion forum for game help, say you are just starting etc. Patience, lots of, is needed initially

Run the tutorial game, its a very simplistic one, but gives the basics

EDIT: Make sure you loaded Patch V1.52 - its a must have

Good Luck :)

The Patch is a must have - even if still problems, keep it loaded, else you will just mask whatever the real issue is

what dose this mean

Caught Unhandled exception creating xml parser object current xml file is:

That is an error that was prevalent with V1 & V1.09

You need Patch V1,52

If you have loaded it, and still get that post again please

Ive put the patch on the pc. It says please insert correct DVD ROM now. But the game is in the DVD Drive.

Just to let you know Ive got the game running on my laptop ok now. I updated the XML parser object and it works fine now. I have not played on a big map yet though so dont know if it will slow down. I might go and try to update the XML parser object on my pc.
