Hello all, as you can see I'm brand new here. I searched the forums for the last few hours and was unable to find exactly the same problem as I am having so I figured I'd make a new thread. I just recently bought Civilization 4 Complete Pack from Gamersgate, and was able to install just fine. Both vanilla Civ4 and BtS run perfectly fine, however, when I try to start up Warlords I get an error message as follows:
Visual C++ runtime error - the application requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
I have tried for a couple days to find a fix for this, but I am at my wit's end. I know that there is not much of interest in Warlords that isnt in BtS, but I am an avid ancient history fanatic so I really want to play the scenarios in Warlords, and that is besides the fact that I paid for all three games, so although I appreciate any help, please dont tell me that I am "not missing much" as this is not the point.
My version for Civ4 vanilla is 1.74 and the version for BtS is 3.19, I cannot tell what Warlords is since I cannot open it
. I have attached my dxdiag text to help anyone who might be able to help me. I called 2K games and the guy really had no idea what he was doing, and Gamersgate has yet to answer any of my emails even about a previous game from a week or two ago! Any help would be awesome as I am really looking forward to playing the rise of rome scenario! Thanks everyone!
