Civ II Haiku Contest!

Inspired by Stormene's haiku thread in Humour&Jokes, I decided to start a little contest. Write some haiku about Civ II, and post them here. If we get some good ones, we could choose an 'official' CIVfanatics Poet Laureate!

Here are mine:

By the riverbank
A silent village reveals
Eight barbarians!

Though Athens is wise,
Wisdom does not bombers buy:
Unit disbanded.

Your endless chatter
Does not amuse. Now begone
Our eternal friend.
========================
The glory of Rome
Perfumed like ten thousand buds:
"We need a sewer!"

So much depended
Upon the mayor of Ur:
Food, democracy.
========================
"The concept of Stealth
Intrigues us; what would you say
To Warrior Code?"
========================
Cruise missiles like Zen
Know not time nor fuel nor space:
Eighteen units lost.

then I got into a war
and lost the whole game

civ II is a game
the greatest game invented
I play it often

what is but a man
or even an improvement
to a world wonder

I demand tribute
let me give you my map here
not enough WAR TIME!

and a little off topic:
if I had one wish
it would be for all your love
will you marry me?
