Basically, i am in the middle of a game, and then the screen begins to blink. The screen will go blac, freeze and show nothing but the cursor, unfreeze and go back to the game. It continues to do this throughout the whole game. Earlier today everything was just fine, there was no blinking and no problems. I have been playing LAN games with my brother so I am not sure if it is caused by this.
FYI I am on a Dell XPS M1330 laptop on windows vista and I am running the Steam version of Civ IV. My brother has the same laptop as I do and the same Steam version of Civ IV and this problem is not happening with him. We are set on the same resolution and graphics levels so I am unclear why this is happening.
