DosBox has lots of online help and suggestions
http://www.dosbox.com/wiki/Basic_Setup_and_Installation_of_DosBox
The short answer: Full Screen - press ALT+ENTER to go into and out of full screen.

Are your CIV files in C:\MPS\CIV ? If not move them there.

Open notepad enter the following two lines.

cd C:\Program Files\DOSBox-0.72
dosbox -c "mount c \mps\civ\" -c "c:" -c "civ.exe"

In notepad use save as… to save file as C:\MPS\myciv.bat

NOTE: above C:\Program Files\DOSBox-0.72 should be replaced with the path to your version of DOSBox, as your version is most likely different.

Then using my computer open folder c:\MPS double click on myciv.bat and CIV should run normally.

im using a cd-rom and still cant seem to save that notepad file
You must get the files off the cd-rom and onto your C: drive. Is there an install program or bat file on the CD? None of the files should be compressed so copy the files on the CD to c:\MPS\CIV
If you still can't get it to work, give more description of what is on the CD.

For reference, the CD does have an installer, but straight copying works, too. Copying is easier since it requires less interaction with the emulated DOS environment.

hi yeah i done that, but nothing shows up when i click on the bat file or the civ file that i copied to the C: drive(dos window briefly appears then disapears).

I tryed finding it through dosbox but it cant find it. The CD is read only files is this a problem?

files on the CD are a CIV.exe, Adobe Manaul, shortcut to ms-dos and acrobat folder with acrodos, acrowin and acromac folders. The Acrodos folder has an install file?

Hey can someone tell me how to view fullscreen in dosbox, when i push ALT Enter it just enlarges the black background and the actrual gaming screen is still the same size??

If possible,I will install win98 in another PC for play many DOS GAME.
It's a dream that i want to try.
